GLVAR is changing its corporate Bylaws to ensure the association’s application for Nevada nonprofit status will be successful. GLVAR is changing form a cooperative to a 501(c)(6). This is your association and your voice is important. Please make every effort to attend and get your questions answered and share your thoughts as every effort is being made to be accountable and transparent to you the membership. Core Logic offers free computer lab assistance at GLVAR Mondayand Friday from 9:00am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Reservations are not required.

Friday, July 17^th at the General Membership Meeting at the SLS, the Community Outreach Committee will be collecting items for a Toiletry Drive. All donations will be given to the Nevada Homeless Alliance for their community event held in November at Cashman Center. Donation wish list is: socks, T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, shampoo, conditioner, bushes/combs, soap, hand sanitizer, tooth brushes, toothpaste, lotion, sunscreen and feminine hygiene. If you cannot make the event, please get your donations to Janet at the Summerlin Office by the morning of July 17^th

Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 23, 4:00pm at the Signature Green Valley office. This will be a company wide Office Social. We have invited all 18 candidates for the GLVAR Board of Directors to come speak to us. This is your chance to meet the candidates. We will have adult beverages and appetizers and we really need a good turnout for this event. Come listen to the candidates, make your decision and then Janet will tell you for whom to vote. Signature has 3 candidates running for office. Brandon Roberts is running for Board of Directors, Vandana Chima Balla is running for Vice President and Janet Carpenter is running for Treasurer. The election is in August for the 2016 Board.

Next week, Monday July 13^th – Thursday July 16^th, 8:30am to 5:00pm is Signature’s Real Estate Academy in Summerlin. If you want business, you need to be here. We still have room in the class.  RSVP to Ashley so we will have enough workbooks.
