I relocated here in 2014 from the Northeast without knowing a single person or anything about the area. What I did have was determination. I knew Corporate America wasn’t the path for me, and when I arrived, I committed to building something of my own. With no roadmap and plenty of uncertainty, I stepped into real estate driven by ambition and a willingness to learn.

I began my career in 2015 at a boutique brokerage with a small team of buyer’s agents, where I relied heavily on templates just to get my footing. Everything changed when I connected with Heather Mongie at Signature Real Estate Group during a transaction. She introduced me to the true fundamentals of the industry—how to operate with integrity while still being profitable, how to prioritize clients, and how to guide them toward homeownership with purpose. Her mentorship shaped me into the agent I am today.

By November 2015, I was working closely under Heather’s guidance, and in 2019, I became a co-owner of the team, leading our Las Vegas division. In that role, I mentored agents, led weekly meetings, and supported transactions, passing on the same foundational principles that were once taught to me.

That same year, I participated in the Nevada Leadership Academy—an experience recommended by Janet Carpenter—where I developed my business and leadership skills under Keith Lynam and Thomas Blanchard. I built lasting relationships with Realtors across the state who have since become like family. I also dedicated time volunteering at The Center, supporting the LGBTQ community by helping connect individuals—especially youth—with vital resources. Additionally, I served as Vice Chair of the GLVAR Education Committee, helping guide fellow Realtors in supporting our association’s mission.

In February 2020, I made the decision to branch out and create my own team due to creative differences. I built it on the same principles of integrity and client-first service that were instilled in me early on. Today, I lead a team of six agents who trust me to help guide their careers. In turn, they’ve helped me grow—teaching me patience, structure, and new approaches to training and development.

In May 2023, I was diagnosed with leukemia—a battle that tested my faith in ways I never imagined. During that time, my business had to take a back seat as I prioritized my health and my family. It was one of the most challenging periods of my life, but also one that reshaped my perspective and strengthened my purpose. Today, I stand having beaten that diagnosis, and because of that journey, I’ve committed to giving back in a meaningful way. Each year, I donate 10% of my earnings to leukemia research and rehabilitation.

I truly love what I do. Helping individuals and families across the Las Vegas Valley achieve their real estate goals is more than a career—it’s a purpose. This profession has allowed me to elevate my family’s circumstances and reinforced something deeply personal: that we are worthy, and that we matter. Coming from Lawrence, Massachusetts—a city where success often feels out of reach—I carry immense pride in how far I’ve come. More importantly, I take pride in serving this community as a Realtor with integrity, dedication, and heart.
